It is Kai Chi Do Inc.’s policy to respect your privacy regarding any information we may collect while operating our websites.

This Privacy Policy outlines the type of information that we collect, how we might use such information, and the choices you have regarding Personal Information we may possess from your use of the Kai Chi Do websites and online services.

THE INFORMATION WE COLLECT

  1. INFORMATION YOU GIVE TO US: From our website you may send email to us, make requests/inquiries, submit articles or photos or events for publication on the website, sign up for newsletters or email notifications, leave comments, download articles, register for a course or event, or view and print information. By giving us this information, you consent to your information being collected, used, disclosed, and stored by us, only as described in our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
  2. EMAIL INFORMATION: We never sell lists or email addresses. When you register for services and provide us with your email address, we may use a Distribution List and Email service, such as Mailchimp, to communicate with you. You can read Mailchimp’s Privacy Policy for more details.
  3. INFORMATION FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES: We may get information about how and when you use the Services. This information may include your IP address, geographic location, access dates and times, length of visit, page views, and actions taken by you within the website.
  4.   1. WEB BEACONS: Email distribution services, such as Mailchimp, may include single pixel gifs, also called web beacons, in emails they deliver for us. Web beacons collect information about when you open the email, your IP address, your browser or email client type, and other similar details. Web Beacons are used by the email distribution service to create reports for us about who has or hasn’t opened emails or clicked links. Mailchimp Privacy Policy indicates that they may also collect and review that information.

USE AND DISCLOSURE OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

We may use and disclose your Personal Information only as follows:

  1. To facilitate use of our Services. For example, if you are a registered user of the instructor.kaichido.com site we may send you emails notifying you of your progress through the site.

For example, if you leave your Personal Information when you visit our Website and don’t sign up for any of the Services, we may send you an email asking whether you want to sign up. And if you use any of our Services, and we think you might benefit from using another Service we offer, we may send you an email telling you about it.
